The Niles Foundation partnered with Enchanted Makeovers (EM) in Detroit, Michigan refurbishing a women's and children's shelter. NF donated the paint and labor to help beautify the space. Other partners helped will the space with new furniture, bedding, among other items, as well as a "Sacred Sewing Room" creating a sanctuary for the women to learn and create. 

Enchanted Makeovers' (EM) mission is to create environments and programs for women and children in shelters that educate, empower, open a path for creativity, mindfulness and self-expression. EM has been empowering women and children living in shelters since 2007. We are a national 501(c) 3 charitable non-profit organization based out of Taylor, MI. We serve Women, children and female veterans. Many are battling human trafficking, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
